When we got engaged in 2016, we had a terrible moving experience of our own. Even though we hired a reputable company, the movers were hours late without calling, scratched half our furniture, and the final bill was double the original estimate. There seemed to be a need in the market for an honest and reliable moving company FL. Following our wedding, we used our gifts to partially fund our first moving truck. With a lot of sweat equity (literally) and finding a great team of movers in Clearwater FL, we've performed over 3500 successful local and out-of-state moves.

What an amazing team we had during our recent move with Big Man's Moving Company last week. Dylan,... Rashad and Owen took away all of the stress of moving day. Each had a specific job and they each knew what was required of them without any guidance from me. I've move many times over the last 40+ years and without a doubt this was my easiest on moving day. They packed a 16' POD with perfection and took specific items labeled to a storage unit and got it all in with room to spare. We found these guys online without a personal recommendation trying to help our Aunt and Uncle with... their move in Tampa. We were a bit hesitant at first but after after a lot of research we narrowed it down to 3 companies and ended up choosing Big Mans Moving. Thank God we did! I have moved 9 times in my adult life and the last move was performed by Big Man's Moving Company. ... I contacted Brooke and Josh and they were able to provide a very competitive quote and just meeting them made me feel confident that my belongings would be well-cared for. They are incredibly organized and sent me an invoice that had all of my furniture, the number of boxes and everything that I would be moving, listed right there. I had a couple of things to add and just let them know and they made the proper adjustments.The truck arrived exactly on time and wrapped my furniture in blankets, as well as plastic shrink wrap. Same with my hanging clothes. They took exceptional care with all of my things and were quick getting the truck loaded. When we arrived at the new condo, they are even faster getting it off the truck and placed every box exactly where they were asked to using the labels I placed on the boxes. I could not recommend any other moving company in this area other than Big Man's Moving Company. They are prompt, courteous, very professional and easy to work with. We had such a push to move out and in same day with two closings. The crew did a great job loading... and packing. The unload went very smooth and they were so helpful to stage boxes and furniture throughout the house. No significant damage occurred during the move. They we polite and professional. We called Josh about combining two storage units into one unit. This was a fairly small job- two... hours- but he was able to do it the very next morning. His staff- Dylan and Cordero-arrived promptly- were very professional and accommodating. My husband was impressed with their ability to get everything in the unit and how efficiently they worked. I recently contracted Big Man Movers for my father in laws local move. Josh was very accommodating... when my other mover cancelled at the last moment. I gave Josh 24 hour notice. He didn’t hesitate and told me not to worry his team would be there at 8 am. At 8 Donnell and Jorge showed up and were awesome. They went right to work wrapping everything and loading efficiently. From the beginning Josh and Brooke were great communicators and really showed an interest in my... move. They even made recommendations in a selfless fashion to help us save money which took money away from their business. We hired this team of husband and wife to pack us up for our move. They arrived with a good team... to start and then it completely fell apart. The wife had to run and fix her car, all the other packers had to leave for another job the husband was trying to accommodate. In the end it was just the husband alone and we packed a lot of our own stuff. He ran out of supplies and had to get more. At the end of the day my husband had to check his invoice and we documented how many hours he was alone attempting to finish. They both made a lot of excuses but at the end of a very long day it was one of the worst moves we ever had. We have moved 15 times and never had this level of disorganization. I would highly recommend the husband have someone do all the organizing, we where left with so much to pack on our own. Very disappointed. Please do not respond with excuses, just admitting this was one of your worst packing jobs is enough and say how deeply sorry you both are.read more

Today was moving day for my Office in Clearwater. I had everything put in storage. Owen and Donnell... came and were great! They showed up on time, worked really hard to protect my furniture. They stated very close to the estimated time and it was worth every penny! Josh was a pleasure to work with setting everything up on the business side if things,I even recommended a beautiful new storage facility...I did my own packing of small things and cleaned out all the drawers etc. I think it takes the client and the company working together in order to have a perfect outcome... The entire experience with Big Mans Moving superseded my expectations. Josh and Brook were always... on top of my emails with timely replies. I could tell from the first phone call, I wasn't just a "number" my move was important to me and it was important to them. I feel like I was treated like family. Also, they accommodated me with the Sunday move on the date that I needed! How awesome to move on a Sunday across the state of Florida with not much traffic on the road! The short version of this review is that this is quite simply the best moving company I have ever... worked with. We’ve moved about 5 times in the last 10 years and Big Man’s was absolutely the best. $400 under the estimated price and fast courteous movers. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Also, we had a pretty unique situation. We had to have our current home packed on one day, and then not move into our new home until the next. Big Man’s showed up 20 minutes early on day one and within three hours had our 3 bed 2 bath house packed up. Also, they packed our entire kitchen and 3 closets full of stuff into boxes in that time and loaded it all into the truck as well.On day two, they again arrived early and hustled in the heat and offloaded everything into our new home in about 2 hours. Everything arrived in perfect condition and was put where it needed to go.Our moving crew was Jay, Owen, and Marcus and they could not have been more professional. They all hustled the entire time they were in our home and were super polite to all of us. Again, I could not give this company, and this crew, a higher review. They were simply fantastic.read more

The level of professionalism I received from the first phone call to the last was awesome! The... three movers (Charles, Tray,&Owen) were so courteous. They showed up 10 mins early, they asked questions and were so polite. They had everything that was needed to make this move safe and efficient. I was very happy with the service I received. This was a big move for us and Big Ban's Moving Company made it a breeze. Josh informed me that his wife, Brooke, carefully hires the guys that work as movers and I have to commend her for her hiring abilities. These guys were awesome, they were nice, and were ready and willing to work. We will call Big Man's from now on for our moving needs and I recommend that you give them a chance. This review is long overdue but needed as I would warn people to look elsewhere for a reputable... moving company. We have moved cross country multiple times for work opportunities and this by far is the worst company we have used. The wife & husband duo is great at the beginning but after the consultation you never hear/see the wife again & the husband is highly disorganized. They do a great job selling, but it goes downhill fast. Our pick up and pack ran well over time scheduled, they did not check the home before completion, forgot to pack the garage and did not wrap key pieces on furniture. On arrival at destination, one of their movers fell badly and sprained his knee, we watched this happen. He needed to see a doctor but was told to keep working. His knee swelled up and he was literally crying during the move. There was no organization to this move and we quickly noticed how much damage had been done to our furniture. Scratched furniture, smashed flat screen TV, and broken appliances. It gets worse, by noon time we realized they were not going to complete the move by days end to catch their flight home. In order to finish the move at out own costs we had to get another set of movers to get us situated and moved into storage. The very worse part of this issue was the owners shocking, aloof and constant rude responses for owning anything. EXCUSES and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Support local businesses but not this one. Please see pictures of proof as owner will NOT make right or own this, instead we expect a snarky BS response.read more

Could not have asked for a better experience. Arrival time was scheduled for 7am. They arrived 10... minutes early. Dylan, Marcus & Owen were very professional. They worked tirelessly to get everything moved out of our old house into the new. They wrapped the furniture with blankets & plastic. No damage was done to anything. I highly recommend this company. These guys moved me last year. They went above and beyond, beat the prices of any other business in... their class, and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They were FAST. The disassembled and reassembled, and handled special requests. I am about to hit them up again for extra help putting together and moving new furniture. Josh was excellent in making sure I was fully informed about all aspects of my move - process, insurance, costs, even tips on how to save money. The day of the move, Erin & Rashad were on time & such nice young men! Moving is stressful & they really made it fun, which eased my stress considerably. They were careful with our things but they moved fast! Felt like I blinked & the truck was packed! They even came through with a first aid kit after our cat was less than happy about getting into her carrier & shredded my husband’s hand. True professionals! The guys were amazing and my estimate was the exact same price when I’d signed the contract. There... wasn’t any hidden fees plus the owner had explained everything to me beforehand. I really felt bad for one of the guys that was carrying my sectional downstairs; He had damaged his foot pretty bad but still manage to get the job done in a timely manner. This move was the best. Thanks for the help from Big Man’s moving. I got on their website and... submitted an estimate. Josh got back with me within the hour. He explained everything to me. What really sold me was his caring and the insurance that his company has. Other companies do carry insurance but that only protects them and not you. Talk with Josh and he will explain it. I used other companies before but I was not treated the way Josh has treated me. On the day of the move, his team showed up right on time. Bobby the team leader lead his team and done a superb job. Bobby was the nicest guy ever. He treated the move like it was his furniture. From start to finish these guys were excellent. If you plan on moving get Big Man’s moving. I just used Big Man's Moving and from beginning to end I was highly pleased. The last time I moved... my experience with a different company was so stressful and I was so worried I would go through that again. Best decision of our entire moving process was to hire Big Man’s. Due to a misunderstanding, we... received a much smaller POD than anticipated. We did not think we would fit everything. Cortes and Mark were ROCK STARS. They arrived on time, a very short hour and a half later they were successful in fitting everything into the POD. They were polite and very respectful. I can't say enough about this company. The owners took time to review their process and why they... are a great moving company compared competitors. I did check out others and Big Mans price was more than fair, their insurance/liability was better than the others and the fact that they have employees rather than day labor type contractors working the moves made a difference to me so I chose them. The team showed up as planned and meticulously wrapped and loaded all my furniture and boxes never once complaining about the size, weight or how hard it was to get things loaded. When it came time to unload at the new house, the team was just as careful moving items into my new house, to the rooms noted on the boxes. Josh, Elvin and Corbyn made a very very trying experience for me the best it could have been. Professionals all of them. My boyfriend came from a different town so used a different company the next day to move in and we saw how good Big Mans Moving Co was compared to what he booked with.
